Remember when I posted about my Aunt Peach? Well, her sister, Aunt Muggs, died Saturday. I think it was a combination of the Alzheimer's and life without her sister that took her. I've no great aunts or uncles left now, no grandparents. An entire generation of my (British) family are gone, and it's sad to me. I still have Uncle Bob, Aunt Peach's widower, but no blood-family from that generation. It's odd to me to think that I'm old enough to have that happen.

I looked in my mum's wardrobe the other day, and found all of Aunt Peach's old clothes there. With Aunt Peach's things hung the dress in which Aunt Muggs was to be buried, when her time came. Uncle Bob had sent it down by mistake. Mum has to post it back up to him today.

A whole generation, gone.

Next, it'll be my own parents, and then Deidra and I. Not that I'd want to live forever, but the people you love aren't supposed to die.
