Wishing You... Is Easy 'Cause You're Very Old. La-La-La-La-La Oooooh-Oooh-Oooh.

So, B asked me today how I say Happy New Year to people because he wants to do a New Year fax circle like we did for Diwali. I said that I just tell them to have a Happy New Year, and that's that.

What is the fax that I'm meant to design for our New Year fax circle say?

Wishing a very, very happy and prosperous life to you and your whole family.

Which is better than what he had orignally wanted: Wishing for you a very-very happy & a prosperous life for you & for your whole family.

Also, he told me he rang my father and wished him a happy birthday, as my dear old dad is now sixty-five. B said, 'I rang Father and wished him. You have wished Father yet? It is his bartday today? You have wished him, since he is now very old?'

B knows my parents from ages ago, and that is how I ended up 'teaching English to Nepali and Indian immigrants', aka sitting on my fat arse for most of the time I've been here. Thank you, and good night.
