All right, ONTD. We need to have a word.
Enough with the fucking Heath Ledger shit already. He wasn't any more special than the rest of us, so these Tribute Posts really need to fucking stop. The fact of the matter is, he's just another idiot to die of a drug overdose. Accidental as it may have been, it was still an overdose. And he is still an idiot for it.
He wasn't even a brilliant actor, really. He was just an actor. Nothing special. He was a person who deserves to be mourned by his friends and family just like anyone else, but that's about all. The world at large isn't worse without him. The film industry isn't worse without him. Because, you know, 10 Things I Hate About You and yet another Batman film are high art.
Anyway, yeah. He's dead. Get over it. You'll be dead someday too! Isn't that great?
