I am amazed at how many people are saying that they love that Barack and Michelle Obama 'speak so well'. To me, that's a back-handed compliment, even though I'm sure no one means for it to be. I want to ask, 'What do you expect them to sound like?' People wouldn't be so patronising if the Obamas were white, I can guarantee.
Yessuh, them coloured folks is edumacated too! *facepalm*
(Please note the last bit was said with sarcasm and disdain for the race issues brought to this campaign. I would have thought there were more important things than worrying about what the fuck colour someone's skin is, as long as that person has his shit together. I feel that Obama has his shit together, even though my opinion means fuck-all.)
