seethingheathen: (back off jack off!)
[livejournal.com profile] vestalvagrant still hasn't gotten the parcel I posted to her ten days ago, and I sent it signed-for, and the bint at the post office said it would get there in five fucking days. So, once again, I am looking like a jackass. I'm getting quite used to it, so that's okay.

In other postal news, I sent [livejournal.com profile] skyeathena's copy of The Sun on Monday, and the woman at the post office then didn't give me a customs stamp. I didn't know I might need one until I posted [livejournal.com profile] trar's copy on Wednesday, and a different woman said I did. Nice. Same rate of postage, £1.85, so no big deal, but let's see whose gets to her first: [livejournal.com profile] skyeathena's with just an airmail stamp, or [livejournal.com profile] trar's with the customs label. My bet is Nisi's, cos if Customs opens it and sees the Page 3 Girl, they might keep [livejournal.com profile] trar's for themselves.

Wednesday, when I posted the last Sun, the fucking queue for the post office in Russell Square was out the door and then some, and the fucking tosser in the first position was asking some woman what her perfume was. So, she spends a few seconds digging through her bag, pulls out the bottle, and says, "Oh, it's called Irresistible."

Bless the Royal Mail and all non-English speaking fucks that work in the post office.

Just going through my friends page, and I came across this from [livejournal.com profile] meheregarosh.

1. Put your first name only into google.
2. Do an image search.
3. Post your three favourite results.

Here are mine. )
seethingheathen: (dom's got funky styleeeee.)
[livejournal.com profile] cinqueportelli did this, and now so shall I. This makes three pointless entries today, kids.

Brief summary of your name: Sonja
The name of Sonja has given you sensitivity and appreciation for the finer and deeper things in life. You can enjoy reading, study, and contemplation about many different subjects. When your interests or curiosity are aroused, you work intensely at new undertakings, but your interests often wane when you encounter drudgery and monotony, with the result that you leave many things unfinished. Your name has taken you into many bitter experiences. The greatest lack in your life is stability and peace of mind. A peaceful and quiet environment, especially out in nature, is one of your greatest desires, but you are constantly taken into chaotic conditions.

Most of that is true, except the bit about nature. Sod peace and quiet. Find out what your name means here.

That being done and out of the way, I shall move on to The Friday Five, also via Ms [livejournal.com profile] cinqueportelli. I always forget about it unless I see it on someone else's journal.

Shall we? Yes, we shall. )
