You know why? Because it was one-all for Slytherin and Gryffindor, so the Headmistress changed her vote to Gryffindor (from Hufflepuff). No reason given, other than 'Vote change to Gryffindor. Breaking the tie.' The Headmistress happens to be Slytherin.
I'm not sure how I feel about that, honestly. I think I need a drink. And a live bat to bite the head off, just so the world feels right again.
