Last one, I swear!
Jan. 26th, 2008 12:31 amBut probably not. Because I'm a Slytherin, and we all lie (Yes, more stupid House generalisations on applications).
I'm leaving
hat_sorting. No, not because of the bloody Gryffindor thing, but because...well, if you moderate a community, I don't think you should be eligible to enter and win the contests that take place there. It just seems a bit unethical. Even though it's just a silly fandom community, it doesn't mean that ethics don't apply.
I'm sure it's a fantastic community. And I'm sure I'm missing out. But the more I think about it, the more I want to concentrate on HiH, SiO, and H_E, if I get in there. I think I would be spreading myself a bit thin.
And, I will say that communities like HiH are different, because each little sub-community has its own mod, and the Headmistress doesn't enter the contests. I like the mini-mods over on HiH, despite what other people think about it. And I like that they're elected each term through anonymous balloting.
On another HiH note, I have no problems whatsoever with my Prefects. I just wonder why they post the weekly activities roster before checking to see who has completed the activities for the week. I (and a few other people I know of) have done most of the ones that have 'No One' listed, and I did them earlier in the week. And the ones that started today, before the roster was posted? Yep, got them. Yep, before the roster was posted.
Anyway, I know you're all sick and tired of me bitching about sorting communities, so I promise I'll leave off for a bit. Unless, of course, I get Squibbed or Puffed on H_E. When the hell are applications dropping anyway?
