New Friends.
Aug. 19th, 2008 06:33 pmAs I've managed (despite my complete dorkiness) to make a few new friends through a couple of recent friending memes, I thought I'd make a post about what to expect from my journal.
Things I Do.
- Post fanfiction.
- Post gay porn videos.*
- Whinge about other LJers, specifically and generally.
- Swear.
- Make several posts a day, if I feel like it.
- Skip days or weeks at a time, depending on what's happening in Real Life.
- Only comment if I have something relevant to say, not for the sake of commenting.
Things I Don't Do.
- Log IPs or disable anonymous commenting.
- Expect you to comment on every entry.
- Read every fic posted by my friends.
- Get angry if you disagree with something I've posted.
- Do every meme I'm tagged for.
- Do Friends Cuts and make people beg to stay on my flist. Gauche.
If any of this bothers you, I won't be offended if you decide to leave. But I hope you'll stick around, because sometimes I'm good for the lulz.
* You have to request to be added to the filter. Not everyone wants to see porn (gay or otherwise), so as a consideration to those who don't, I filter it. And I won't be checking userinfo for age statements, because people can put whatever they want there.

Logic Fail.
Aug. 19th, 2008 07:44 pmIt's no secret (or maybe it is) that I cannot stand Harmonians. Let me rephrase that: I can't stand rabid Harmonians. Wait, no. I had it right the first time.
That being said, I present to you Harmonian Logic Fail.
Please help me to understand. She wants people to stop ignoring the epilogue so that she can ignore canon altogether? I ship H/D like a package, but I never pretend it's anywhere near canon.

Ignoring the "Deathly Hallows" Epilogue
Please stop doing ignoring the epilogue, Harry/Hermione fanfic authors. It drives me up the wall.
I'm a Harry/Hermione shipper. I like to look for post Deathly Hallows fanfics where they get together. I don't like it when you completely ignore the epilogue. I hate it when they completely disregard the epilogue just so things go their way. Get Harry and Hermione together after the epilogue! I love reading stories where Rose (or Hugo) turn out to be Harry's. I even loved that fic where James turned out to be Hermione's. I want to find out how you can get Harry and Hermione together after their marriages split up or their spouses die. I haven't been able to find that many Harry/Hermione post epilogue stories because it's all ignore the epilogue fanfics.
Does this bother anyone else? I can't be the only Harry/Hermione shipper that feels this way.
