1. A body of water, smaller than a river, contained within relatively narrow banks.
That is a stream.
2. What the thing you push around the grocery store is called.
It's called a trolley!
3. A metal container to carry a meal in.
A lunchtin.
4. The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in.
If I cooked bacon and eggs, I would use a frying pan. But I don't, so I don't.
5. The piece of furniture that seats three people.
I say it's a couch. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.
6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof.
That would be guttering.
7. The covered area outside a house where people sit in the evening.
That's the conservatory. What?
8. Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages.
I call them soft drinks, or softies.
9. A flat, round breakfast food served with syrup.
Pancakes, but no thanks.
10. A long sandwich designed to be a whole meal in itself.
That's a baguette. Tasty!
11. The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach.
Swim trunks!
12. Shoes worn for sports.
Trainers, of course.
13. Putting a room in order.
Something someone else does. Or tidying.
14. A flying insect that glows in the dark.
I don't know! Firefly? Lightning bug? I don't know! I've never seen one in real life.

That's called a see-saw.

With a knife and fork, thanks. Gets me loads of weird looks from the natives.

Either a car boot sale or a jumble sale, depending on where it's being held.

Wait, what? Who has a furnace under the house? I are confused.
