vii. temple.
“you want to get out this time?” orlando hooks his finger through elijah’s belt loop, pulling the denim away from elijah’s hip. before elijah can answer, orlando slowly drags a spit-slicked finger between cloth and skin and bends down just enough to blow cool air over the damp trail. he grins when elijah’s grip on the yellow handrail tightens.
“n-no, i'm fine,” comes elijah’s weak answer. “just, i- no, i'm okay.”
orlando rests his chin on elijah’s shoulder and whispers so quietly elijah can barely hear, “i love you.” he grins again when he sees elijah’s knuckles have gone white.
Next stop: Blackfriars (under construction).
