Yesterday my mum bought me a jumper and a (hideous) pair of trousers. She gave them to me and said, "I bought these for you because I know you won't like them. I wanted to motivate you." That made no bloody sense whatsoever.

"Motivate me how?"

"Motivate you to exchange them for something you want."

I like the jumper, so I'm keeping it, but I'm going to exchange the trousers, or else just return them for the money. Hey, £11.00 is £11.00. Especially since I just spent £80.00 on two new jumpers and two new skirts.
