Can someone tell me why my upstairs neighbour thinks it's okay to be hoovering at 4 o'clock in the morning?

Nevermind the fact that she didn't wake me up doing it because I was awake and reading, but still- that's too fucking early for housework. Speaking of housework, I should be doing mine. I'm considering using a service, but that's pretentious and wanky.

Which brings me to a housekeeper story I can't remember if I've told before. Stop me if you've heard this one. It's more of a sentence, really, but it's funny.

When I was oh, eighteen or so, our head housekeeper killed her husband with a screwdriver. It's so hard to find good help these days. *snort*
