WORK
I'm trying to think of what I was doing in 1999. I was twenty, and I think I was selling bridesmaids' dresses. I hated that job so much, and was actually relieved when I was sacked. Why was I sacked? Because my father had open-heart surgery, and I was denied the day off when I tried to schedule it in advance. I called out anyway, and was told by my boss that unless I was performing the surgery myself, there was no need for me to have been there.
LOVELIFE
I wasn't seeing anyone in 1999. I don't think I went on one single date that entire year, if I'm honest.
MISCELLANEOUS
Apparently, 1999 was a boring year! I wasn't in school, I wasn't getting up to no good, I wasn't doing anything I can remember. Wait! I got my first mobile phone in 1999. And my dad bought me another car. I went out with my friends a lot, but that's about it. I think we realised my sister was pregnant with my neice then, but that could have been early 2000, since my neice was born in July 2000 and she was early.
