Hey, kittylair? Shut the fuck up already. I understand you want to have a decent community, but you take it to the extreme. We get it- you love to hear your own voice (see your own words?), and you love to be the 'Moddess' of a large and popular community. But honestly? Get the fuck over yourself. I know it's a long climb, but I'm sure you can make it.

Like most mod posts- This post is not directed at most of the community.
So skippity skip on over this post if you are not part of a snark/mock comm or have never had a mod note directed at you for causing wank.

So yeah... I am taking a backseat in the community for a bit. Personal blah blah blah.

I have placed zinnea  in the hot seat as the lead mod. She has the power to do whatever is necessary and my full confidence to do whatever is needed here. I will support her in all her actions here. So if you have an issue with her- take it up with her. She'll either address your concerns or ignore you. That's up to her and no amount of whinging to me will change that. Backseat. Me. Cup of Tea. Capishe?

I have instructed her to crack down on the trouble makers in this community.

Obviously a small portion of you can't play well here.
Some reading this will wonder- who? Some known trolls. Others are snarkers; a small portion of the snarkers and not all, who have been frakin with Ops and other users for a long time now. Bending the rules to legitimize their attacks and using any loopholes they can find to bring them the max lulz and drama.

Speaking of massive drama-
Yes I made mistakes with that post last week. But it was not a mistake to address what really happened. Was it a bit grudgy? Fine, I admit it. You attack a member and it feels like you attack me. Badly timed? Yes. It should of  been known and posted when it happened.
But most importantly:
You don't fuck with members of this community and get away with it.
By not naming the person immediately it made it seem like it was a random troll or someone who hasn't been a well respected user here.
It was not. Enough people know who it was now so I'm not rehashing anything but the main point:
Anyone who sleuths private info and use it to harass community members here or privately for any reason will be perma-banned.
Think before you do something.
You do not break into someone's house because you found the number to their garage pad on the street, just to show them that you can. It's goddamn creepy and actions that break the rules have consequences. Even if you've been here forever.
The rules are many but the core principle is that we respect ourselves and each other. This does not make us "safe space" where you can't discuss anything that might make someone upset- it makes us civilized.

If you come to this place to fuck with people in the comments for your own personal entertainment you are no longer welcome here.
To clarify (because there's always some stupid ass looking for a loophole): You can debate but you get one warning for wank starting.
You attack someone or cross the line (and that is up to whatever mod gets to that post first, case by case) you will get a ban.

So...
Use that lump that Hulu craves between your ears and try for commonsense when discussing a post or using a questionable icon!
If you think it's not the right post for the community- LET A MOD KNOW. Contacting us is just like commenting anywhere else and many of you are so good at dogpiling on an OP a simple comment to us is not that hard! But hey.. that would ruin your fun wouldn't it?

And this is not grandfathered. There are no more second chances.
If you are a known shitstirrer you will be banned for the good of the community the next time you screw around here. Even for the slightest offense.
Take it elsewhere- that's why that elsewhere exists.

I don't care if it makes us "boring":. This community's quality should be solely based on what's contributed not how many wanky comments a post has.

Yes, I know I could leave, but sometimes the posts there are actually worth reading, and I like to post there myself. I just don't understand why it's ruled with such an iron fist. Espcecially since kittylair herself is a member of snark comms, and has no problems snarking people. Pot? Meet kettle. You'll get along juuuust fine.

Oh, and- I do agree with the policy on harrassing members. But to make multiple posts about it in the same week is INSANE.
